Security, setup, and cancellation - the objections we hear most.
You create your own API application in the ServiceTitan Developer Portal, then paste your Tenant ID, Client ID, Client Secret, and App Key into MemberBay. You control the credentials and can revoke access at any time from the Developer Portal. Credentials are encrypted at rest.
MemberBay requests only the scopes needed for retention work: customers, memberships, jobs, and invoices. We never request payroll, GPS, inventory, or banking data. Write access is limited to Memberships and Jobs, and only when you trigger an explicit action like reactivating a membership or booking a save visit.
Initial setup takes about 5 minutes: 2-3 minutes to create the API application and 1-2 minutes to paste credentials and verify the connection. Initial data sync starts automatically and usually finishes within an hour, depending on membership volume.
No. MemberBay works through the dashboard first. The extension is optional - it surfaces the same risk signals and recovery actions inside ServiceTitan so your team does not have to switch tabs. It uses minimal permissions and caches nothing in your browser beyond 60 seconds - your data lives in your MemberBay account, not on your device.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. If you cancel, you can request a full export of your data, and after 30 days it is permanently deleted from our active systems.
